Playtime is fortunate to have the support of highly qualified psychiatrists and Child Protection Officers as clinical advisors, all of whom are well respected in their particular fields.
Phillipa Williams-Moulton
As a clinical consultantPhillipa completed her training as a psychologist in South Africa in 1988,
and her orientation is primarily psychodynamic, with additional training in play therapy, filial therapy and family therapy. Most of her working life has been spent dealing with children, young people, and their families.
Phillipa is registered with the British Psychological Society and she has worked in the UK since 1999 in the Norhampton Child and Adolescent Mental Health service, currently as a Consultant Psychologist.
Her main areas of interest are trauma, loss, attachment and child psychotherapy. She also has a strong interest in Supervision and supervises several qualified staff members as well as trainee psychologists. Accredited by Oxford University, Phillipa is a specialist child marker on the Board of Examiners of the Oxford Doctoral training in Child Psychology.
Dr Kedar Dwivedi (MBBS, DPM, MD, FRC.Psych)
Kedar is a Consultant Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatrist at the Child and Family Consultation Service and the Ken Stewart Family Centre. Working in psychiatry since coming to the UK in 1974, he is a member of more than a dozen professional associations, including the Group Analytic Society, and has contributed extensively to the literature (nearly 30 publications), teaches on the Midland Course on Group Work and Family Therapy and is the Course Director of the Introductory Course on Group Work with Children and Adolescents in Northampton.
Dr Jess Gordon (M.BCh. M.B. Ch.B. M.R.C..Psych.)
Jess is a retired consultant in child and family psychiatry.
Peter Harper (Consultant Clinical Psychiatrist. B.SocSc. BA (Hons). M.Sc (Clinical Psychology) AFBPsS.)
A Consultant Clinical Psychologist working in the Child Health Directorate, Northampton. He has extensive experience as a clinician, therapist, trainer and supervisor, both in the United Kingdom and abroad. He is a member of several professional organisations and is on the Editorial Board of The Child Care Worker, a journal to which he has made a number of contributions on working therapeutically with children.
